Spektral for Figma

Import variables, styles and frames straight from the file you have open — on any Figma plan.

The plugin is not on Figma Community yet, so it installs from a manifest — which the Figma desktop app can do and the browser cannot.

Download the plugin
  1. Unzip it somewhere you will keep — Figma loads a development plugin from these files every time it runs, so deleting the folder uninstalls it.
  2. In the Figma desktop app, go toPlugins → Development → Import plugin from manifest…and choose manifest.json from the unzipped folder.
  3. Open a file with variables or styles and runPlugins → Development → Spektral. Make sure the Spektral desktop app is running too.
  4. The first run asks for approval, and this happensin Spektral, not in Figma — switch to the app, open Settings → Figma and clickAllow. Later runs connect silently.
